Statement of Cash Flows report uses the Category3 field of the Balance Sheet account to separate the report into Operating (OP), Investing (INV) and Financing (FIN) activities. You can insert OP, INV or FIN into the Category3 field of the Balance Sheet account one at a time or update multiple accounts with a Replace function.
Replace function is an efficient way to change the field data of multiple accounts (or transactions).
Highlight the accounts from the Chart of Accounts list, and then use the Replace function from the “Select” menu to replace the Category3 field with the relevant data such as OP, INV, or FIN.
